This has been on my mind for a few weeks. Decided to just post and see what comes back.

The question of "Are there any sites like dirtyroulette that have better mode..." comes up all the time in spaces like this, and I think it deserves a real conversation. I've seen a lot of conflicting info online and honestly a lot of it feels like paid promotion or outdated reviews from years ago.

One thing I always keep in mind: Always do a quick reverse image search before agreeing to meet. Feels obvious but a surprising number of people skip that step and regret it.

For reference, here's what I've personally tried or looked into so far:

  • Hinge – more relationship-focused but has casual users too
  • Bumble – better for people who want some initial filtering
  • Feeld – if you're open to more flexible arrangements

Curious what other people's experiences have been. Drop your honest take below.

Okay here's my take — Yeah it worked for me after a couple of tries. Just make sure your profile is filled out properly.

I've tried probably five or six of these platforms over the years so here's my honest breakdown.

I've found that the key is managing your expectations. No platform is going to be perfect for everyone. What works in Los Angeles might be completely dead in a mid-size city. The user base matters more than the features.

The one I keep coming back to personally is Flurrydate. It's not perfect but the user base feels more genuine than most.

Hope that helps. Happy to answer follow-up questions if you have them.

I've been in a similar situation and Tried it, liked it, but moved on after a month. It does what it says on the tin.

Someone also mentioned rendate.site to me recently — apparently it's pretty active if you're in the right area.

This is actually something I've spent some time researching so let me break it down a bit.

After testing probably a dozen of these, my honest advice is to start with the free tier everywhere before paying for anything. You'll learn a lot about the quality of the user base without spending a dollar.

Hope that helps. Happy to answer follow-up questions if you have them.

Okay I'll share what I know because I feel like this deserves a real answer.

After testing probably a dozen of these, my honest advice is to start with the free tier everywhere before paying for anything. You'll learn a lot about the quality of the user base without spending a dollar.

Quick breakdown of what I'd suggest trying:

  • Facebook Dating – surprisingly active in smaller towns
  • Bumble – better for people who want some initial filtering
  • Coffee Meets Bagel – slower paced but more intentional
  • OkCupid – underrated, especially for niche interests

The one I keep coming back to personally is DatingFly. It's not perfect but the user base feels more genuine than most.

Hope that helps. Happy to answer follow-up questions if you have them.
